The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Advanced Deployable Systems Program, (PMW183), intends to contract on a sole-source basis with Lockheed Martin Corporation, Naval Electronics Surveillance Systems, Manassas, VA, for engineering services to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Advanced Deployable System (ADS) acquisition. The estimated value of the engineering services is $10,000,000. This will be awarded on a cost-plus-award-fee basis. The engineering services provided under this contract will define the EMD phase of ADS, but the actual acquisition of ADS is not covered by this contract.
