This award will be made under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition and FAR Part 13.5 Test program for certain commercial items. This is notification to interested parties. The solicitation number for this announcement id F08651-00-T-0118. This contract is for two Indigo Systems Inc Infrared Focal Plane Array Cameras, part number 222-000-04 and two MWIR 100mm f/2.3 Bayonet Mount Lenses, part number 222-0003-04. The cameras shall have high image quality, with the ability to display a clear, crisp image with a point source, 1200 degrees Celsius black body source without any blooming and still display features in the background in the same image. The cameras shall have both NTSC and S-Video analog outputs. The FPA cameras should have remote control operation via push-button panel, allowing user to turn AGC on/off, adjust brightness/contrast, select non-uniformity correction (NUC) table, and perform correction functions. The cameras shall have at least six different color pallets for the pseudo-color display mode. The FPA camera shall display images in a 3:4 aspect ratio. Power requirements shall be 110 VAC/60 Hz. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ. A written RFQ will not be issued. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 3861 (500 employees).
