intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the individual or
company best qualified to provide medical transcription services to
Federal inmates housed at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Duties include
but are not limited to: providing equipment for the medical personnel
to dictate to a toll free telephone line, sending finished dicatation
to FMC within 2 working days, complete STAT transcription upon request.
Requirements include: Contractor must meet all the Federal, State, and
local regulations for the confidentiality of medical data and future
HIPPA regulations, provide all necessary equipment for the
transcription process. The contractor shall conduct one three This will

contract period shall include a base year, not to exceed 12 months, and
4 one year option periods. The anticipated solicitation date is April
