USAID/CAR Regional Mission is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure technical assistance, training and limited equipment and commodity support to assist the Central Asian Republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and possibly to a limited degree, Tajikistan, to contribute to improved management of natural resources, especially energy and water. The contract will focus on the following activities: implementing models of integrated natural resource management; increasing natural resource management capacity; improvements to the policy and regulatory framework; and increased public support for better management of natural resources. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5 floppy disk (MS Word format).
