Contractor shall provide storage, delivery, set-up, pick-up, and repair/cleaning of government-owned durable medical equipment for the VA Black Hills Health Care System with facilities located at Hot Springs, and Fort Meade SD. Contractor shall maintain a place of business and storage facility within the areas of Fort Meade/Rapid City and Hot Springs, SD due to requirements for patient equipment repairs, frequent VA inspections and pickups at either VA Medical Center. Contractor shall provide a storage area that is no less than 750 square feet and no more than 1000 square feet. Contractor must be certified and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO)at time of award. Contractor agrees to use and comply with all current JCAHO standards for suppliers of durable medical equipment. Base bid period will be from May 15, 2000 through May 14, 2001. Contract will include two additional option years. The solicitation package will be available approximately April 10, 2000. All bids are due May 3, 2000.
