519 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a contract to
Raytheon Missile Systems of Tucson, AZ to provide support to initial
SM3 Block I system engineering efforts. The scope of the effort will
include such tasks as planning and requirements analysis, sensitivity
analysis and key design studies. Also included will be tasks associated
with the current Block 0 AEGIS LEAP Intercept (ALI) system. The
contract will be for eighteen months. The authority for this action is
10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). "Only one or limited number of responsible
sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency
