synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance
with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. Issuance of this Solicitation does
not bind the Government to award a Contract. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation/proposals being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F01600
00T0394, is being issued as an Request for Quotation (RFQ). The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. This is a Small
Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is
7929, $5mil. Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract
without discussions. Therefore, qualified vendors should submit a
quotation with their best overall lowest price. The following factors
will be evaluated: capability, price, past performance and compliance
with delivery schedule. An interview will be conducted with all
offerors found to be responsive. The Contractor agrees to comply with
the following FAR clauses, which are incorporated in this solicitation
by reference, to implement provisions of law or executive orders
applicable to acquisitions of commercial items. IAW FAR 52.252-2,

are required to submit DUNS number, Taxpayer Identification Number
(TIN), and cage code when submitting offer. The DFARS clause
252.204-7004 mandates awards be made only to those offerors that are
successfully registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). In
accordance with DFARS 252.232-7009, payment for goods and services
received by the federal government shall be made using Electronic Funds
Transfer (EFT). Quotes shall be submitted in writing to 42 CONS/LGCV

below. Quotes must be received no later than 4:30 PM Central Standard
Time on Tuesday, 11 Apr 2000 4:00pm Central Time . SUMMARY OF WORK:
Non-Personal Services, the contractor shall provide labor, materials
and transportation necessary to perform as Instrumental Protestant and
Catholic Musician at Maxwell Air Force Base Chapel. Line item 0001,
Weekly Services Quantity: 60 each. Line item 0002: Weekly Rehearsals,
60 each, as scheduled. Line Item 0003: Special Services, 6 ea. Period
of performance is one year. Scheduling will be made by the Chaplain.
Vendor will perform at two masses and one Protestant service. Place of
performance is Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, AL. See attachment for
