equipment, supervision and transportation required for Phase II
renovations to the gymnasium building #269, USCG Training Center Cape
May, 1 Munro Avenue, Cape May, NJ. The work covered in this Project
includes all materials, labor, equipment and services and all
operations necessary for _Energy Conservation Improvements_ to
Gymnasium Building 269 located at the United States Coast Guard
Training Center in Cape May, New Jersey. 1.1.2 In general, the work
includes but is not limited to the following: 1.1.2.1 New ceilings in
pool entry vestibules; 1.1.2.2 Replace glazing at windows, window
walls, sidelights and transoms; 1.1.2.3 New thermal insulation and
acoustical attenuation for pool walls; 1.1.2.4 Recaulk all joints
between concrete panels/concrete panels, concrete panels/masonry,
concrete panels/concrete foundation, concrete panels/windows, and
windows/aluminum fasciae; 1.1.2.6 Remove heating/ventilating units,
ductwork, wiring, controls and accessories serving pool area and pool
mechanical space. Provide new HVAC systems, associated wiring and
controls for pool area, pool mechanical space, and crawlspace adjacent
to pool mechanical space; 1.1.2.7 Replace pool mechanical space access
hatch; 1.1.2.8 Replace lights with energy efficient fixtures,
associated wiring and panelboards for pool, pool mechanical space, and
multipurpose gym; 1.1.2.9 Replace outlets in pool area. The period of
performance is 421 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is
estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 and is open to both
small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC code for this
procurement is 1542. Due dates for bids will be not less than 30 days
