The objective of this effort is to demonstrate the use of inflatable technology on ejection seats to decrease potential aircrew injury during the ejection sequence, from initiation through seat-man separation. This effort will be conducted using an ACES II (F-16 configuration) Ejection Seat, hereby referred to as “ejection seat”. These results may be used to determine the feasibility to continue this effort further into Engineering, Manufacturing and Development (EMD).
