Alan Frederick, DARPA/CMO, FAX (703) 696-2208 DARPA intends to issue a purchase order, not to exceed $43,000.00, to the American Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) of Menlo Park, California, for the purpose of conducting the Year 2000 Mobile Robot Competition and Exhibition. The period of performance for this order is seven months; the competition and exhibition will be conducted during the period 30 July thru 2 August 2000. This Association conducts this competition and exhibition annually; this event will be the ninth such event. AAAI is the only source known to the Government with the capabilities, experience and personnel for accomplishing this event within the Government cost and schedule constraints.
