services for the following project: Fire Alarm System Upgrade, Bldg
100, Project No. 648-01-102 The scope of work includes site
investigation, preliminary design, final design, 20 sets of drawings,
specifications, cost estimate, and construction period services.
Drawings are to be done on CAD compatible with AutoCAD Version 14. A
copy of the drawings are to be submitted to the VA on disc at the end
of the project. The general scope of work is: The project will upgrade
the current Building 100 fire alarm system to an intelligent,
supervised, and programmable fire alarm system that meets all
applicable local, state, and federal codes. Building 100 comprises over
1.2 million square feet on eleven floors. The construction cost range
for this project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Only
firms within the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington area desiring
consideration should submit current SF 254's and SF 255's before the
Close of Business (4:00 p. m.) local time, April 28, 2000. Selection
