PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) The General Services Administration (GSA), Upstate New York Property Management Center, will conduct a pre-solicitation conference in Syracuse, NY on Friday, April 14, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The conference will be free and open to the public. The purpose will be to discuss upcoming requirements for mechanical operation and maintenance services in various federal buildings and to identify potential small business sources. The Government is particularly interested in obtaining input regarding the common terms and conditions used in mechanical operation and maintenance service contracts in the commercial sector. Advance registration is strongly advised, as conference space will be limited. The conference location will be the Holiday Inn, Carrier Circle, off exit 35 of I-90 (NYS Thruway). Please e-mail or fax registration requests to either Ms. Hammer or Ms. Mortas at the attached address/fax. Upon registration, an advance RFI package will be immediately mailed to allow for review prior to the conference. The form of the RFI will be a previous solicitation for mechanical maintenance services issued by another GSA location. The Upstate Property Management Center is considering similar contract language and requests public comments prior to the release of actual solicitations.
