labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, and do all things
necessary to furnish and install an emergency generator system as
indicated by the specifications and drawings furnished with this
solicitation. The project includes, but is not limited to, the
following work: Demo existing emergency generator, fuel system and
associated appurtenances. Patch duct and pipe wall penetrations. Demo
concrete panels covering basement access above generator. Relocate
piping that penetrates concrete panels. Install new, removable,
weather-proof concrete panels on basement access, as specified. Provide
and install new basement exhaust system, including new duct, duct
fittings, fan, dampers, wiring, controls,etc. for a complete exhaust
system. Exhaust fan shall be energized when temperature in the basement
goes above 70 degrees F, or when the shower light is on. Provide and
install concrete pad and foundation for generator and enclosure, and
building walkway according to plansand specs. Provide and install
thermal insulation and vapor barriers at walls, roof, ceiling and
foundation. Provide and install 50KW generator system with 120 gallon
subbase day tank fuel system with transfer pump, controls,and
associated equipment. Provide and install 500 gallon fuel storage tank
and associated piping and controls to integrate with new generator and
fuel system. Relocate existing compressor station located in the fire
extinguisher maintenance bay to the new location inside the generator
enclosure. Reroute the compressor piping system to provide service
equal to existing. Insulate compressor piping passing between enclosure
and fire extinguisher bay wall and provide pipe support as specified.
Provide and install single enclosure for the generator system, the fuel
storage tank and the compressor station. The generator, fuel storage
tank, and compressor station shall each be located in separate rooms
within the single enclosure. The generator room shall have walls and
ceiling with a minimum 1hour fire rating. Each room shall be accessible
from the outside through doors provided in accordance with the plans
and specs. The compressor room shall be heated with 3KW wall-mounted
units w/adjustable thermostats and integral blowers to maintain a
minimum temperature of 50 degrees F. Replace existing Master
