The Government may have a need to purchase four (4) spares in support of the M1A2 Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF). The ELRF supports the U.S. Army's M1A2 tank fleet. These spares are based on erbium:glass (Er:Glass) technology. The ELRF requires an operating wavelength of 1.54 um. The purpose of this notice is to identify and establish initial interest and points of contact from private industry. This information may be used to prepare a bidders mailing list and design acquisition strategy to include socioeconomic program support. It may also help to identify/establish commercial practices available to the Government.
