This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ linked above or it may be accessed at http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= . NASA/JSC plans to acquire six (6) air handling units with chilled water and hot water coils, ranging from 6,000 to 12,000 CFM in size. Four (4) units are for indoor installation, with one (1) of those being a multizone unit, and two (2) units are for outdoor rooftop installation. Additionally, the indoor units are to replace existing air handlers and must meet certain size constraints. See attached Specifications and Appendix A and B for more details.
