Description: This is a combine synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-00-Q0106) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. The SIC for this solicitation is 3713. This is being solicited unrestricted. The item description is as follows: Non-personnel Service to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items necessary to install a rear utility body to include all attaching hardware, lighting and paint body to match truck color, for two (2) Dodge 3500 trucks, PAC-EQU-PK-08-40-15-49-VF-NAFB. Offeror shall quote on the following items: CLIN 0001: 8 foot utility body package; 56_ CA single wheels/96_ long/40_ high/79_ wide/49_bed space/urethane paint/15_ deep compartments with special tools/paddle handle locks/recessed step bumper. This body has the following upgrades: 1) transverse compartment with 2 side access & 4 sliding trays to pull out of either side of the body 3_ deep stacked to the top, 2) 1 each 3_ open top tray on top of transverse compartment with a flip top lid accessed from the bed area, 3) 6 each 3_ deep rollout drawers stacked to top of streetside #3 compartment, 4) 4 each rollout shelves spaced evenly in curbside and streetside horizontal compartments, 5) 2 each rollout battery tray holders on curbside rear compartment with louvers, 6) Internal lock bar system.
