The work of this project is intended to bring the current gravel pathway at Mission Espada into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. This work is required because the current walkway is in poor condition. The project will require the replacement of the existing walkway with a sand finished, buff colored concrete walkway system with irregular edges. The new walkway system will be installed in phases to allow visitors access to the site during construction. When completed, the entire visitor route through Mission Espada will be completely accessible, approximately 13,000 square feet of walks will be completed. Mission Espada is located at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park in San Antonio, Texas. Estimated cost range for this project is $50,000 to $100,000.
