Removal of approximately 287,000 cubic yards of dredged material comprised of maintenance material from 17,955 feet of project channel with variable widths of 50 to 932 feet to varied required depths of 10 feet to 40 feet (below mean low tide) and varying allowable over-depths of 1-2 feet. The material will be deposited in House-Stimson Tract contained placement area and material from the Light Draft Channel will be placed in a temporary placement area to be designated inside the Main Turning Basin of Houston Ship Channel before being placed in House-Stimson Tract placement area. Work to be performed in Harris County, TX. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
