The United States Coast Guard, MLC Atlantic intends to issue a five year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Cummins VT903M engine parts in support of the intermediate engine repair program at the New Orleans Integrated Support Command. The Coast Guard intends to conduct this procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This simplified acquisition will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), on or about 15 April 2000. The RFQ will be issued via the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. A limited number of copies of the request for quote will be available on a first come first serviced basis. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS system for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments.
