BALDHILL DAM POOL RAISE, STAGE 1 SHEYENNE RIVER, NORTH DAKOTA Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the fabrication and installation of three new tainter gates. Items of work include concrete drilling and post tensioned anchor installation, concrete placement to raise portions of two abutments and two piers, removing and installing existing gate hoists, removing old tainter gates, fabricating and installing new tainter gates, new handrail, chain link fence, ladders and other miscellaneous items of work. The estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price is between $1 Million and $5 Million. THIS PROCUREMENT ISSUED UNRESTRICTED UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM (Public Law 100-656). SIC: 1629, SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE STANDARD: $17 MILLION. This procurement will be conducted by using 2-Step Sealed Bidding Procedures which require first the submission of technical proposals followed by an invitation to submit a priced proposal extended to those firms that meet the minimum technical requirements. The solicitation will be available on or about 25 April 2000 on CD-ROM. Technical proposals will be due on or about 25 May 2000. The invitation for priced bids will be issued on or about 06 June 2000, and priced bids will be opened on or about 06 July 2000.
