N68335-00-RFI-005 -- Precision Digital Inflation Pressure Gage. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) is evaluating the availability of a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) Precision Digital Inflation Pressure Gage for use on a US Navy aircraft carrier. Any gage to be considered for use must meet the following technical requirements. The following requirements delineate the absolute minimum technical requirements that a aircraft carrier Precision Digital Inflation Pressure Gage shall meet: Pressure Range -- 0-600 PSI, Overpressure -- 2X full scale without damage, Burst pressure -- 10X full scale, Accuracy -- +/- .5 PSI, Electric batteries -- 9 Volt, Display -- 4 digit LCD with viewing light (indiglo for example) so gage can be read in the dark, Storage temperature -- -40F to160F, Operating range -- -40F to 160F, Calibration -- All adjustments shall be made internally. No external hardware will be allowed since it produces a potential for foreign object damage hazard. Construction -- Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) capable, heavy duty, rigid; needs to survive EMI environment and rough handling. This gage needs to be rugged in design and be required to handle and operate accurately in a stringent EMI interface control requirements suitable for ensuring that system operational requirements are met. Test, analysis, or a combination shall verify EMI compliance thereof.
