This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NASA/GSFC plans to purchase the following: Item #1. Quantity 1. Water-Cooled Helium Compressor, 208V, 50/60Hz, Single Phase. CTI-Cryogenics Model 9600 (p/n 8135900G001) OR equivalent. Item #2. Quantity 2. Cryodyne refrigerator. CTI-Cryogenics Model 350 (p/n 3695576) OR equivalent. Item #3. Quantity 1. 2 Pump 20' Installation kit OR equivalent, 1'2" ID including: 4 flexlines F-ST, F-GL, L-20'; 2 20' cables; 1 comp/box cable 15'; 1 splitter box; 2 helium tees; 1 tool kit; and 2 helium couplings. Interested organizations quoting equivalent items MUST include specification sheets showing how their product meets the Government's requirements.
