This synopsis is being issued to obtain offers for the provision of construction material and the operation of the Contractor Operated Civil Engineering Supply Store (COCESS) at Charleston Air Force Base, SC. Contractor is to set up and maintain a store in Government owned facilities and will be responsible for furnishing Civil Engineering related supplies for use on Charleston Air Force Base. Typical categories of supply include, but are not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, paint, HVAC, and other related building materials. This office has requested a solicitation specific waiver from the Small Business Administration_s non-manufacturer rule in order to pursue this acquisition as a Small Business Set-Aside. Be sure to check the solicitation for the actual set-aside status upon its publication. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) and small business size standard for this procurement will be SIC 5211/500 employees. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available.
