FWS1-00P055(YY): Fee title and reserved rights appraisal of real estate in and adjacent to the San Francisco Bay area, California. Parcels to be appraised include ponds currently used for salt production and uplands used for processing. Lands to be appraised total about 13,700 acres of fee lands (salt ponds, marshes, tidelands and uplands) and 3,200 acres of salt ponds currently owned by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with salt production rights retained by the former owner and present operator. The selected appraiser shall be a Certified General Appraiser by the State of California. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions and the Interagency Land Acquisition Conference Position Paper, adopted April 3, 1995. The approximate solicitation issue date is April 10, 2000 and technical and price proposals will be due 30 days after actual issuance of the solicitation. This is a commercial item procurement.
