McGuire Air Force Base, NJ intends to issue a competitive solicitation seeking a qualified 8(a)Contractor to provide Unarmed Personnel and Baggage Screening Services at McGuire Air Force Base's Passenger Terminal. The proposed procurement is set-aside for competition among 8(a) firms. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7381- detective, guard and armored car services. To be eligible to compete for this requirement, you must be certified as a 8(a) firm by the Small Business Administration and must have average annual receipts for the preceding three years not in excess of $9 million. A firm fixed price contract using commercial contract provisions will be used. The base period shall be from on or about June 1, 2000 through 30 September 2000 with four (4) one (1) year option periods. All responsible 8(a) firms may submit an offer in response to the solicitation. It is recommended that interested sources inspect the work site so that they will be aware of the general conditions which may affect the work.
