These extensions are necessary to avoid disruption of specified mission critical services during the Agency's relocation to Federal Office Building (FOB)2, Arlington, VA, and Agency's concurrent revision to its internal contract management and acquisition policies and practices relating to these services. The BMDO will issue limited sole source contract extensions to those contracts expiring within the next 24 months. The term of the extensions will range from a minimum period of five months, to a maximum period of 18 months as necessary to prevent disruption of essential services/activities during the aforementioned events.
