D -- TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES The Internal Revenue Service intends to extend the term of the Department of Treasury Telecommunications Systems (DOTTS) contract NO: TIR-91-D-00017 to Vista Technology Services, Inc. for one additional year. The contract expires in December 23, 2001. The current contract services consist of integrated digital voice and data, local telecommunications equipment and services; associated technical services; and management services for federal agencies nationwide. The systems and services include telecommunications switching systems up to 5000 lines, data switching systems up to 2000 lines, key systems and hybrid systems, station equipment, wire and cable installation, maintenance and technical support. The Department of Treasury does not anticipate award of a new contract before this contract expires. The extension would provide continued telecommunication services to the Department of Treasury and its Bureaus nationwide until the DOTTS followon contract is awarded.
