Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-00-Q0266) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-5. This acquisition is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. The SIC code for this solicitation is 7515. Far 19 classifies small businesses as those that gross equal to or less than $18.5 million annually based on the average of the offeror_s past three fiscal years. The item description is as follows: Non-Personal Service to lease one 14 Pick-Up Truck for one year with two option years. The vehicle shall have the following minimum equipment: air conditioning, tinted windows, and automatic transmission. Lease includes unlimited mileage for each year of the lease and manufacture basic lease care program (to include emergency roadside service, repair and service) factory warranty, and all maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotation, according to the manufacture scheduled maintenance plan. The contractor shall provide a replacement vehicle within 24 hours in event the lease vehicle extended maintenance. The lease shall provide roadside assistance for the life of the lease. The government shall provide daily maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle, such as gasoline, motor oil, anti-freeze and similar items as required for day to day operation. The option years will be in one year increments. The government requires delivery 15 days ARO. The government will evaluate the total price by adding the total price for the basic 12-month period and two more option periods. The government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option price is significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of option shall not obligate the government to exercise the option. Offerors must submit their offers by 4:00pm PST 28 Apr 2000. Late offers will not be considered. Offers will be accepted by mail, hand carried, or faxed to 702-652-5405.
