PRESOLICITATION NOTICE -- TO NOTIFY CONTRACTORS OF A FORTHCOMING SOLICITATION -- Title: CONSTRUCT JET ENGINE SHOP, WSL, AT THE NAVAL AIR WEAPONS STATION, CHINA LAKE, CA. -- The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to construct a pre-engineered metal building (60' X 40' by 22' eave height). Building will include heating, evaporative cooling, rest room, shop air, and bridge crane. Performance time is 180 calendar days. The SIC Code is 1541, with a related small business standard of $17.0 Million. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. The estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This Solicitation is unrestricted. -- The subject "Procurement Notice" should appear in the CBD on 21 April 2000.
