survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials,
equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and
incidentals and performing all operations in connection with the repair
of base streets (pavement section replacement with concrete or asphalt,
pothole repair, asphalt overlays and seal coats), the construction of
new supporting facilities (driveways, drainage swales, sidewalks,
pavement markings, curbs and gutters), and providing other
miscellaneous construction activities (constructing new streets,
excavation, backfill, demolition, surveying and seeding). This will be
a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)
construction contract. During the contract period the Base Civil
Engineer will identify construction tasks required to complete each
specific job and the Base Contracting Office will issue individual task
orders to the contractor to complete those jobs. The contractor will be
required to furnish all materials, equipment and personnel necessary to
estimate, plan, manage and accomplish the job. Individual jobs will
vary in size with the majority expected to be of a small to medium
size. Projects will be in support of real property maintenance, repair,
alteration, and/or new construction. The performance period is one (1)
base year with one (1) option year. Multiple awards for this
requirement will not be made. The estimated contract magnitude is
between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The guaranteed minimum is $200,000
for the life of the contract, and the maximum is no more than
$3,000,000.00 per year(not guaranteed). The proposed procurement is
unrestricted. All eligible offerors may submit a proposal. The
applicable Standard Industry Classification (SIC) code for this
acquisition is 1611. The issue date for the solicitation is to be
determined at a later date on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at
www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register on that
site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation.
