The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a RFP for an Indefinite Quantity Construction Services contract to include renovations, alterations and repairs to the Washington, D.C. facility. One or more contract(s) may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The contracts will be for a period of one (1) base year and two (2) option years. The estimated award amount for each contract for each year is approximately, $7,300,000.00, for an aggregate amount of $22,000,000.00. Various types of work will be issued on task orders from time to time during the life of the contract(s). The SIC for this project is 1541. Security clearances for contractor personnel are required. The solicitation will be available on June 1, 2000. Solicitation requests should reference the solicitation number. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of the solicitation.
