41 -- HVAC CONTROLS, SUPPLY, UPGRADE & INSTALL SOL RFQ R1-04-00-28 DUE 042600 POC Barbara Benninghoff (208) 765-7261 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQ R1-04-0-28 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 15. This is a total small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification code is 3625, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Quotations are requested on supply, upgrade and installation of digital controls of HVAC system from pneumatic controls,for the Fernan Ranger District Office, Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. To schedule a site visit, contact Rod Weeks at (208) 664-2318. Quoters are required to include a lump sum price and provide an overall plan describing the work to be completed. At a minimum quoters are to identify items which will be replaced, and what will replace those items. In addition, a schedule of work must be included. A record of past performance for the last three years for similar type work shall be included with quotes. Include project name, dollar value and customer name and telephone number. It is anticipated work will begin on or around May 15, 2000. All work shall be completed within 30 days from the start of work. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. One contract will be awarded to the Offeror providing the best over all value to the Government. Past performance, technical approach, price and other factors will be considered in evaluation for award. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items with its offer.
