NSN: 5180-01-454-3787 The Government is performing a Sources Sought to Acquire Potential Vendor sources of supply, who are capable/interested in fabricating a General Mechanics Tool Kit(GMTK). The GMTK Purchase Description can be optained at the email address: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/MARKET%20SURVEYS/market.htm FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY request that a cost proposal be submitted to the following email address of webbd@ria.army.mil by April 25,2000. The cost proposal should be based on a 5-year firm fixed price. The cost should be based upon an instant quantity of 2,000, and an indefinite quantity over a 5 year period, with no guarantee of orders beyond the 2,000. As stated in the Description for Purchase a First Article Test will be required. The first article shall consist of 4 each GMTK, which will be examined and tested in accordance with DFP389. The First Article Delivery Schedule is 120 days, with Production to follow 90 days after First Article Approval, at a rate not to exceed 500 per month. Any break in Production the delivery schedule will be 90 days. All prices quoted shall included a warranty as stated in the Purchase Description. Prices will be quoted as follows: 1) Wheels and handles permanently attached 2) No wheel and handles 3) Wheels and handles deattachable.
