This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 1 EACH LASER TRACKER MEASUREMENT MACHINE 7 The Laser Tracker Measurement Workstation Shall be certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and ISO-9001 registered. 7 Shall be capable of Absolute Distance Measurement. 7 Shall be capable of 3 dimensional feature and contour measurement at a distance of 30 meters. 7 The computer system Shall be capable of high Graphics computing with High Graphics Computer Hardware and Software supporting the Measurement System, with a color Printer, and 19 inch high-resolution monitor. 7 The measurement accuracy shall be +/- 0.0015" of an inch at 20 feet with 280 to 360 degrees of horizontal rotation. 7 Laser Tracker Workstation Shall be transportable for a One Person continuous powered use of the Tracker during Transport with swivel/lockable Wheels and a dust cover for the system. 7 The System Shall have a Calibration Kit, consisting of: o Motorized Rotatable Reference Bar with integrated counterweight. o Magnetic Reflector Mount for Corner Cube. o Reference Bar to Stand Adaptor. o 2 ea. Industrial Tripod with centering columns. 7 The System Shall have a Laser Tracker Stand with a 15" Base Tube and Plate. 7 The System Shall have a 1.5inch Corner Cube Laser Reflector. 7 The System Shall have a Reflector Holder Kit, consisting of: o 1ea LB-3750 Linear Bushing. o 1 ea LB-5000 Linear Bushing. o 2 ea Tripod Sphere Mounts. o 1 ea Sphere Mount .250 shank. o 1 ea Sphere Mount shankless . o 1 ea ESM-2 Sphere Mount . o 1ea Tooling Ball, .500" dia., .250" shank. o 1 ea Sphere Fit Adapter. o 1 ea Bar Extension 5". o 1 ea Bar Extension 10". o 1 ea Hard Point. 7 The System Shall be capable of monitoring the measuring area for Humidity and Temperature and shall be capable of alerting the operator of any change in the environment that will effect the measuring accuracy of the measurement system. 7 The measurement system Shall be capable of remote control operation with a CCD Camera Kit, View finder and Monitor. 7 There Shall be Two one week Training Sessions Basic and Advanced at NASA, Langley Research Center for Five NASA Personnel. Dates to be determined between NASA and Contractor after award made. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-15. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA/LARC is required within 14 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination.
