This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items perpared in accordance with subparts in the FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a name brand or equal requirement with an emergent need. The following catalog #'s and descriptions belong to Bio-Rad Laboratories. Contractor shall be required to supply the VAMC Louisville with loaner equipment, at no charge, until the required equipment is ready for installation. Proposal shall include at a minimum shipping, installation, training for 1 technologist, one year full-service warranty, and 2 each operator/service manuals. Equipment required is the #270-2000, Variant II Hemoglobin Analysis System with includes the analyser, computer with data management software and printer (1 system); and the #270-2101, Variant II Hemoglobin A1c Reorder pack with contains 1000 tests.
