requirement is for Preplanned Product Improvement (P3I) of the Longbow
Hellfire Modular Missile (LBHMM). It is anticipated to result in a
twenty-two month (FY01-02) basic contract with three options. The
procurement will be conducted using other than full and open
competition pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(i). Only one responsible
source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency
requirements. The contractor for this requirement is the Longbow
Limited Liability Company (LLC), 5798 South Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL
32822. The Longbow LLC's members are subsidiaries of Lockheed Martin
Corporation and Northrop Grumman Corporation. The requirements consists
of the design/development of Home-on-Jam/Anti-Jam (HOJ/AJ) software for
the LBHMM. The first option is for flight demonstration/flight
qualification of the HOJ/AJ software. The second option is for
design/analysis of a Counter Active Protection System (CAPS) hardware
solution. The third option is for formal component qualification/system
qualification testing of the CAPS hardware. If the options are
exercised, the period of performance will extend through FY04. Posted
