The US Environemtnal Protection Agency's National Risk Management Research Lab, Subsurface Protection and Remediation Division, located at the Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center in Ada OK, requires a powder X-ray diffraction system for mineralogic characterization of solid phases collected from natural and engineered systems. The basic system shall consist of an X-ray diffractometer, a heat exchange unit, and a computer for instrument control and data acquisition and analysis. The proposed acquisition shall include the following (1) installation within 30 days after delivery at Ada OK, (2) on-site training covering total system operations within a month after completing the installation to at least 3 operators, (3) delivery within 150 days of award, and (4) at a minimum, one year warranty.
