The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement to provide the Office of Air and Radiation, National Vehicle and Fuels Emission Laboratory located in Ann Arbor MI, with technical services to obtain in-use vehicles and engines of specific makes and models needed to conduct various emission tests at its Ann Arbor laboratory. The work will be conducted on-site. The contractor will be required to solicit, obtain, inspect, and maintain passenger cars, light duty trucks, nonroad engines and on highway engines. Approximately 350 vehicles and engines will be obtained, inspected and maintained. The Government anticipates the award of a cost plus fixed fee LOE contract with a 12 month base period and two 12 month options. The level of effort for the base and each option year will consist of approximately 10,400 hours each. In addition, quantity options for each period will consist of approximately 18,720 hours. The procurement will be processed on a full-and-open competitive basis. All responsible offerors may submit a request.
