One or more open-end Architect-Engineering (A & E) contract(s) for investigation and design of routine miscellaneous projects are required. The projects will involve primarily architectural services with civil/structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering support, as required, as well as removal of asbestos and lead based paint where encountered. Construction costs of the individual projects will range between $5,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. The award(s) will consist of a basic one year contract(s) with up to four option years. The selected firm(s) is (are) guaranteed a minimum of $5,000.00 each in fees. With exception of the initial order, no individual order will exceed $299,000.00 in fees. The cumulative fees for each contract will not exceed $499,000.00 a year. The A-E firms will be evaluated on the following significant factors in relative order of importance: Professional qualification, professional, capacity, specialized experience, past performance, location, computer aided design drafting (AUTOCADD), and volume of work. A-E Firms desiring consideration should be multi-disciplined or clearly indicate their consultants or joint ventures. The anticipated disciplines required for these projects are Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical. A-E firms desiring consideration must also submit both SF 254 and SF 255 with appropriate data as described in Note 24. SF 254 and SF 255 are also required for consultants or joint venture firms.
