004&LocID=1765. The following synopsis represents a modification to
the previous synopsis posted on January 28, 2000. The acquisition is no
longer being conducted as a small business set-aside. The acquisition
will be unrestricted. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
(OCC) has a need for contractor maintenance and support services for
their Customer Complaint Processing System. The system is an
integration of: Remedy's Action Request System, FILENET's Discovery
Suite, Optio's FaxFx software, and Seagate's Crystal Reports. The
system is installed at an OCC site located in Houston, TX. The Customer
Complaint System is utilized to record, track, and report customer
complaints, issues, and dispositions. The OCC requires a qualified
contractor to perform application system corrective maintenance,
including application repair and testing, modifying the application to
meet regulatory changes, restoring the application in the event it
becomes inoperable or is running in a degraded fashion, performing
preventive maintenance such as source code restructuring, database
reorganizations, application tuning and the recoding of unmaintainable
application modules. The OCC also requires application system
enhancement maintenance including, responding to end-user requests
regarding existing applications for new features or functionality,
cosmetic changes and presentation of data, new or modified ad-hoc
reports, customization of the Remedy and/or FILENET product suite, and
hardware/software upgrades ensuring functionality and compatibility of
the application system to hardware and software upgrades including new
versions of system components. The contractor shall be capable of
providing qualified personnel and must have presence in the Houston, TX
area sufficient to respond within the response times stated in the
solicitation. The OCC anticipates awarding a contract for a base period
with four (4) one year option periods, to be exercised at the
Government's discretion. This acquisition will be unrestricted. All
requests for the solicitation shall be in writing to the address listed
above. Vendors who have previously requested copies of the solicitation
need not request again under this revised synopsis. No oral requests
