SOUGHT FOR BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT REPAIR TECHNICIANS,
http://www.eps.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/EPS?ACode=P&ProjID=Reference-Number-EJB03&LocID=564. SOURCES SOUGHT to provide equipment
certification services required to support the 305th Medical Group (305
MDG) move from Walson Air Force Clinic to Building 34-58, the new
Ambulatory Health Service Center (AHCC). SEEK TO IDENTIFY RESPONSIBLE
POTENTIAL SOURCES AND OBTAIN INFORMATION FROM SOURCES to furnish all
labor, management, supervision, consultations and reports. Contractor
service shall cover the range of services provided in a civilian
medical treatment facility. Performance shall be according to the
requirements contained in professional standards of the Joint
Commission on Accreditation of Health Service Organization (JCAHO).
OBJECTIVE: The new Ambulatory Health Care Center (AHCC) is located
about 1 _ miles from the current hospital known as Walson. The AHCC has
two floors and is approximately 160,000 square feet. The 305 MDG will
take ownership of the AHCC. The move must be safe, orderly,
cost-effective transition into the AHCC while the current facility is
still fully operational. The AHCC has a 6,000 square foot warehouse, a
portion of which may be available for use by the GMC as a staging area
during the move. The contractor must coordinate the use of the
warehouse with the designated government individual at least seven (7)
duty days prior to the time needed. Items may not be stored in the
AHCC warehouse for more than five (5) duty days without written consent
from the designated individual. This is to ensure the warehouse is used
as a true staging area and not temporary storage. Unless otherwise
noted the contractor will be responsible for relocating all identified
items from this facility to the new AHCC. PROCESS: This request is
only to gather information from interested parties and is an essential
step in determining market interest and for market research purposes.
In order to minimize the costs both to the potentially interested
parties and the government, this notice is issued to determine market
interest and feasibility as well as determining marketing strategies.
Should interest be determined sufficient, a formal Request for Proposal
(RFP) may be forthcoming. Interested parties should provide a statement
of interest on company letterhead. Parties may express interest by
submitting a statement providing capability, experience and business
size. SITE VISIT AND DATA: A site visit is not considered necessary for
the preparation and submittal of statement of interest. DUE DATE:
Statements of interest must be submitted to the 305th Contracting
