Force Base/Fort Dix New Jersey vicinity will have full emergency
medical response, patient transport, and in-flight emergency response
services. SEEK TO IDENTIFY RESPONSIBLE POTENTIAL SOURCES AND OBTAIN
INFORMATION FROM SOURCES to provide state certified EMT personnel for
emergency response and patient transport services required for
Government beneficiaries and the general population on McGuire Air
Force Base/ Fort Dix NJ. OBJECTIVE: The Contractor shall provide
state-certified EMT personnel for patient transport services required
for Government beneficiaries and the general population on McGuire Air
Force Base/Fort Dix NJ. The contractor shall provide full emergency
patient transport services at McGuire AFB/Fort Dix NJ and all
associated housing areas. Emergency response and transport services
will be coordinated via the McGuire Air Force Base Fire Department 911
dispatcher OR 305th Security Forces dispatcher in the event of an
in-flight emergency that requires medical response. Contractor shall
serve as primary medical response unit(s) for all after hours in-flight
emergencies and related McGuire AFB/Fort Dix flightline emergencies.
Contractor will participate in 305th Air Mobility Wing and 305th
Medical Group (MTF) exercises. Contractor care shall cover the range of
EMT and ambulance services provided in the local community. Performance
shall be according to the requirements contained in the Government
Performance Work Statement, and professional standards of the Joint
Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Four specific
procedures for which the contractor shall be responsible are emergency
EMT response and patient transport, in-flight emergency response,
participation in 305th Air Mobility Wing and MTF exercises, and any
patient ground transport to other medical facilities. PROCESS: This
request is only to gather information from interested parties and is an
essential step in determining market interest and for market research
purposes. In order to minimize the costs both to the potentially
interested parties and the government, this notice is issued to
determine market interest and feasibility as well as determining
marketing strategies. Should interest be determined sufficient, a
formal Request for Proposal (RFP) may be forthcoming. Interested
parties should provide a statement of interest on company letterhead.
Parties may express interest by submitting a statement providing
capability, experience and business size. SITE VISIT AND DATA: A site
visit is not considered necessary for the preparation and submittal of
statement of interest. DUE DATE: Statements of interest must be
