the Treasury Mentor-Prot g Program and BusinessLINC Initiative
Conference "Partnership to Profit 2000" Seven City Tour The U.S. Small
Business Administration (SBA), U.S. Department of Treasury, U.S.
Conference of Mayors, Industry Mentor-Prot g Association (IMPA) and the
Federal Small Business Technology Council (FSBTC) are proud to present
a seven-city Mentor-Prot g Program and BusinessLINC Initiatives tour
across the country! Theses conferences will provide an excellent
opportunity for small and large businesses to learn how to do business
with the government and prime contractors. The conference will also
address ways to identify and select partners for participation in the
Mentor-Prot g Program and BusinessLINC Initiative. Participating
agencies and businesses include, but are not limited to, U.S. Small
Business Administration, U.S. Department of Treasury, IRS, Bell
Atlantic, Chase Manhattan Bank, GE Capital Services, General Motors,
SAIC and Lockheed Martin. This is your chance to learn how to benefit
from new federal programs, make contacts with large/small businesses
and government agencies, market your company to potential customers,
participate in seminars and one-on-one counseling and much more!
Conference topics will include business technical expertise,
establishment of Credit Card Capability, Joint Ventures, Large
Businesses Working with Small Businesses, Certification of Small
Business (SDB) and Competitive and Noncompetitive Acquisitions of the
U.S. Department of Treasury. This conference is part of the recently
announced small business initiative entitled Partner America . The
first conference will be held in conjunction with the Department of
Energy's first annual Small Business Conference on April 27, 2000 in
