The purpose of this modification is to send this Notice of Intent to the Commerce Business Daily (CBD). NOTICE OF INTENT: The 55th Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE, intends to issue a sole-source service contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Peoples Natural Gas of Omaha, NE for the repair of natural gas leaks. A market survey was conducted by the 55th CONS/LGCA and the survey revealed that Offutt AFB is serviced by Peoples Natural Gas. This is not a request for quotation of an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. All timely responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not it is advantageous for the government to conduct a competitive procurement; no award will be made on the basis of any response to the notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. The government will not pay for information submitted in response to this publication.
