This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Training on Xilinx Proprietary devices and development systems 1-168-SEB.1207 which was posted on April 6, 2000. You are notified that the following changes are made: The following information is added to the description: Xilinx manufactures Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) which are used on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to check flight instruments. FPGAs allows the generation of hardware faster and cheaper than by using discreet components. Xilinx FPGAs are generic and re-programmable. This training will result in a braoder knowledge on the use of Xilinx FPGAs in a PCI system. The due date for receipt of quotes is not extended. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
