SOURCES SOUGHT to furnish all personnel, vehicles, fuels, equipment, materials, and appropriate permits necessary to relocate Government identified office furniture, medical equipment, non-medical equipment, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), records appliances and other items normally associated with running a medical facility to the new facility. SEEK TO IDENTIFY RESPONSIBLE POTENTIAL SOURCES AND OBTAIN INFORMATION FROM SOURCES to move subject items to the new Ambulatory Health Care Center (AHCC) located about 1 _ miles from the current hospital known as Walson. The AHCC has two floors and is approximately 160,000 square feet. The move must be a safe, orderly, cost-effective transition into the AHCC while the current facility is still fully operational. OBJECTIVE: The contractor shall perform all the services required to move the property from the present location. Transport it to the designated places within the new location, and place it in accordance with plans, which will be provided by Hospital personnel. These services shall include but are not limited to padding, packing, and/or crating; required for the safe transportation of the property. Disassembling the property when necessary in accordance with directives. Pick up and loading of the property at its present locations. Transportation of the property to the new location(s). Unpacking and/or uncrating as required. Placement of the property in the new location(s) acceptable to Government directives. Reassemble as directed. Removal of padding, packing and crating materials from the premises of the Government, and any other services which would normally be included in a complete moving service. PROCESS: This request is only to gather information from interested parties and is an essential step in determining market interest and for market research purposes. In order to minimize the costs both to the potentially interested parties and the government, this notice is issued to determine market interest and feasibility as well as determining marketing strategies. Should interest be determined sufficient, a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) may be forthcoming. Interested parties should provide a statement of interest on company letterhead. Parties may express interest by submitting a statement providing capability, experience and business size. SITE VISIT AND DATA: A site visit is not considered necessary for the preparation and submittal of statement of interest.
