Work includes excavation and earth moving. Sediment control shall in accordance with Maryland Department of the Environment Regulations, and National Electric Codes and Wage determination. Contractor is responsible to have sewer and storm drain complete and ready to use. Work is in accordance with Statement of Work, Drawings,Barc Special Conditions, and Specifications. All applicable, with local building codes, and wage determination. Due to the type of construction all contractor work shall be monitored and inspected by ARS personnel. All work is to be completed within 120 calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. Standard classification Sic Code 1623. This requirement is being procured under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures using Best Value. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Only one site visit will be conducted. It is scheduled for April 27, 2000 at 9:00 a.m., meeting in the Parking Lot of Bldg. 426 Barc-East, Beltsville,Maryland 20705.This procurement is set-aside for Small Business (ESB) concerns. To quality as an ESB, a small business concern's size must be no greater than $17 million annually for the last three years. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeor who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the Government based on best value considering price and other factors.
