soliciting proposals for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) relative
to miscellaneous minor repair & alteration projects at various USPS
owned and leased facilities located within the western portion of the
Albany, NY District, which includes the New York counties of Broome,
Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson,
Lewis, Onondaga, Oneida, Oswego, Otsego, St. Lawrence, Seneca, Tioga,
& Tompkins. The term of the contract will be for one (1) year with
four (4) renewal options. One or more "Work Orders" will be issued
totaling not less than $10,000.00 nor more than $200,000.00 during the
two (2) year period of the contract. The initial limit of $200,000.00
may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the Contractor and
the Contracting Officer up to the maximum of $3,000,000.00. Offers
will consist of a single multiplier. The multiplier will be applicable
to each and every item of work listed in the unit price schedule set
forth in the specifications. The Postal Service reserves the right to
make multiple awards on this IQC requirement. Sealed offers will be
received in this office, prior to, but not later than, 4:00 PM ET on
May 9, 2000. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers
received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or
relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until
award of the contract is made. Offerors will be notified in writing
upon award of contract. Proposal documents, plans and specifications
will be available on or about April 7, 2000 at a cost of $25.00 per set
(non-refundable) from the Facilities Servie Office, 6 Griffin Road
North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Certified checks or money orders only
will be accepted, made payable to the Disbursing Officer, U.S. Postal
Service (Reference Solicitation No. 082530-00-A-0083). Plans may be
inspected at the issuing office and information regarding their

contractor's environmental health & safety plan, which must be
