The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (Service)will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP # 701810R003) for offerors to submit proposals detailing how they will accomplish ground and aerial surveys of spectacled and Steller's Eiders at remote, non-road accessible, U.S. Air Force Long Range Radar Sites in Alaska. The contractor is also responsible for creating Habitat Maps, writing technical reports, and creating relevant audio-visual slides for presentations. The resultant contractor will be responsible for conducting the surveys for an intial period starting in Fiscal Year 2000 and ending in Fiscal Year 2001. The Government may exercise an option period which would extend this performance period through Fiscal Year 2002. Evaluation of the contractor's proposal will include technical approach, past performance, and price. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. This RFP is NOT available on-line.
