Aberdeen Area Indian Service is seeking applicants for a personal service contract for a pharmacy technician to provide services at the Indian Health Service, Fort Thompson Health Center, P.O. Box 200, Fort Thompson, SD 57339. The pharmacy technician will be required to assist the licensed pharmacist with the processing of medication orders, facilitate patient billing, maintaining and monitoring proper storage of medication and supplies, monitor expiration dates and rotate stock, enter data into computer, etc. The contractor must comply with the Privacy Act of 1974, the Crime Control Act of 1990, and the Family Violence Prevention Act. The contractor is subject to a character investigation. The contractor will be required to work Monday through Friday 8:00 am -- 4:30pm with a half hour lunch, excluding federal holidays.
